Landfill CQA Inspector
We are seeking a Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Inspector to support landfill
infrastructure and engineering projects for hazardous, non-hazardous, and inert
waste sites.
The successful candidates will be central to ensuring compliance with
Environment Agency (EA) requirements, delivering high-standard construction
monitoring, and contributing to sustainable environmental outcomes.
Responsible for overseeing and verifying construction works associated with landfill infrastructure,
including construction of new cells & capping works using clay liners & geosynthetic
materials, and other related infrastructure e.g. Retro Drilling of Waste and the
installation of leachate/gas management systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct supervision, inspection, and reporting in line with EA guidance.
- Review and approve materials, workmanship, and compliance with design
and CQA plans. - Provide accurate and timely documentation, to assist with the production of
CQA plans and validation reports. - Work closely with CQA Engineers/Managers to ensure mentoring,
supervision, and quality standards are upheld. - Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, project managers, and
regulatory bodies. - Identify and mitigate risks during construction. Take ownership of and
responsibility for the successful delivery of your CQA projects. · Identify and

particular interests. - Managing suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preparation of factual and interpretive construction quality assurance reports
and plans. - The role is primarily site-based at multiple locations throughout the United
Kingdom, with occasional weekend work required. - The role is Monday to Friday, weekend availability when applicable
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Must have a full and clear UK driving licence
- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
- CQA Supervision: minimum 1 year (preferred)
- Environment Agency Approved (preferred)
- Authorised to work in the United Kingdom (required)

- Willingness to travel
