Peter is the visionary founding Director of Egniol, instrumental in establishing the company in 2001 and guiding its growth from its North Wales origins to its current position as a respected consultancy of choice operating across the UK.

With an honours degree in Engineering Science and over 30 years of hands-on knowledge and experience, Peter brings a wealth of expertise to every project. His deep understanding spans a wide range of engineering and environmental challenges across the waste management, residential, industrial, and commercial sectors.

As Chairman, Peter provides strategic leadership to the Egniol Board, focusing on long-term vision, overseeing the company’s development, and upholding the highest standards of governance. Peter’s commitment to delivering cost-effective engineering solutions and sustainable outcomes makes him a trusted advisor to clients seeking to navigate complex challenges and achieve their business goals. He actively focuses on identifying value engineering solutions to save client money across their development projects.

Andrew is the Support Services Director and one of the founding Directors of Egniol. His career began as a trainee accountant in Birmingham before progressing through a variety of business management roles in a diverse range of organisations.

He brings a unique perspective to the business, ensuring that the internal operations of Egniol are as efficient and effective as possible. Andrew leads the commercial, HR, and business administration teams, focusing on creating a seamless and supportive environment that empowers Egniol’s consultants to provide the best possible service to their clients.

He is dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and is committed to ensuring that Egniol remains a great place to work and a trusted partner to its clients. Andrew is passionate about creating streamlined processes, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring that Egniol’s internal operations are aligned with its strategic goals.

Dan joined Egniol as Infrastructure Director in 2017, bringing a wealth of experience in managing and developing civil engineering services across the built environment. Prior to joining Egniol, Dan was a Technical Director at Pell Frischmann, where he led multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of complex, large-scale building and infrastructure projects for over 20 years.

Dan is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University, where he earned an honours degree in Civil Engineering, and is a Chartered Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). He also serves as the Supervising Civil Engineer for Egniol’s ICE Training Scheme, demonstrating his commitment to developing the next generation of engineering professionals.

Dan is passionate about creating sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions that enhance communities, protect the environment, and drive economic growth. His expertise includes infrastructure design, transportation planning, sustainable drainage systems, and site development.

Mark joined Egniol as an Associate Director in 2019, bringing nearly 20 years of experience as a structural engineering consultant. Based in Egniol’s Sheffield office, Mark is responsible for developing the structural engineering service line in the Yorkshire region and ensuring the timely delivery of projects for our clients. Previously, Mark worked as a Senior Structural Engineer at Patrick Parsons.

He has worked across all industry sectors and is a graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University, where he studied Civil Engineering. Mark is passionate about delivering innovative and cost-effective structural engineering solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. His expertise includes building design, structural analysis, construction support, and structural surveys and reports.

Mark is committed to building strong client relationships, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of every project.

Mike is responsible for the strategic development and growth of the Planning and Environmental team. He coordinates environmental permitting, landfill, and construction quality assurance services.

Mike joined Egniol as a graduate in 2004 after completing an honours degree in Environmental Management at the University of Wales (Wrexham). His career has developed over 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy. As a Natural Resources Wales and Environment Agency approved CQA Engineer, he has overseen the construction projects of numerous landfill sites and associated landfill infrastructure, and restoration across the UK. Mike is a full member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences.

He understands the importance of balancing environmental protection with economic development. Mike is passionate about providing practical and sustainable solutions that help clients minimise their environmental impact, comply with regulations, and achieve their sustainability goals.

Maxine began her career as a Hotel General Manager and holds formal qualifications in Hospitality Management, Executive and Business Coaching. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.

Her career in hospitality commenced in South Africa, where she developed her expertise and progressed into senior people-focused roles, including Head of Talent Management within the hospitality sector. She later advanced to the position of Director of People & Talent in the UK. In 2023, Maxine relocated from the Lake District to North Wales and joined Egniol in April 2024.

Maxine is deeply passionate about human resources and the leadership and development of people. She is committed to designing and embedding effective systems, processes, and disciplines that support talent growth, enhance employee engagement, and attract and retain key skills. Her goal is to help shape a thriving workplace culture where individuals feel genuinely cared for, valued, heard, and seen.

Emma joined Egniol as an Associate Director in 2019, having previously held senior management roles at WML Consulting and GHA Consulting. Emma is responsible for the strategic development and growth of the Egniol structural engineering team. She co-ordinates the structural engineering services across Egniol’s offices in North Wales, Cheshire and Sheffield.

She has 25 years’ experience as a civil and structural engineering consultant, working across a range of industry sectors. Emma graduated with a first-class honours degree in Structural Engineering from The University of Liverpool and has since qualified as a Chartered Engineer, being a Member of The Institution of Civil Engineers and The Institution of Structural Engineers. She has had a long career delivering innovative and commercially beneficial VE engineering solutions to help save clients money.

Emma is passionate about delivering sustainable and cost-effective structural engineering solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. Her expertise includes building design, structural analysis, construction support, and structural surveys and reports. Emma is committed to building strong client relationships, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of every project.

Parag graduated from Brunel University in 2004 in engineering. After graduation, he joined RMD Kwikform as a temporary works engineer. In 2008 he moved to multidisciplinary consultancy Foggo Associates, where he worked on the award-winning £220m Cannon Place project. In 2012, he joined Price & Myers consulting engineers, where he used his analytical and problem-solving skills on a range of geometrically challenging architecturally led projects.

Parag introduced the benefits of integrating 3D modelling with structural analysis and design to the broader practice. In late 2014 he joined MNP, where he worked on a diverse range of projects from small-scale residential and listed buildings to large-scale developments bridging various sectors and forms of construction.

He particularly enjoys getting involved in geometrically challenging and architecturally focused projects. Parag has managed several large master planning projects valued at more than £300M. Parag joined Egniol in July 2023 to lead the structural engineering team in the Milton Keynes office. In the last year he has worked on Elfield Park Industrial unit and Spar building refurbishment project.

Michelle has over 30 years of experience in the landfill industry. She began her career as a monitoring technician for Glasgow City Council and developing and expanding her knowledge while completing her MSc in Waste Management.

Michelle has worked in all aspects of landfill both here in the UK and abroad. She has designed and built gas extraction systems in landfill, operated and managed them and headed the gas division of one of the largest waste management companies in the UK.

From gas management, leachate management, and external perimeter monitoring, Michelle has covered it all and her passion for Landfill shines through. Her personal aim is to advise and achieve final surrender for old landfill sites that exist in the UK, to ensure that of the 21,000+ landfills that exist that we understand them, assess and prove their neutrality to negate their environmental impact.

David is a highly experienced civil engineer with over 20 years of expertise in managing and designing infrastructure projects from concept through to construction, with project values up to £20m. He has experience across highways, land and regeneration, and civil aviation schemes, with specialist knowledge in flood risk assessment, drainage, and hydrological design.

He joined Egniol as a Principal Engineer in 2018 and is a key member of the civil engineering team, supporting our clients across the south east and nationally. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration. David is passionate about delivering sustainable and cost-effective infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of communities and businesses. His expertise includes highway design, transportation planning, flood risk assessment, drainage design, and site development.

David is committed to building strong client relationships, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the success of every project.

Nathan is an experienced and commercially focused Marketing Director with over 30 years of success developing, shaping, and leading strategic marketing across engineering, technology, and professional services sectors.

At Egniol, he is responsible for shaping and delivering marketing strategy, driving lead generation, enhancing all aspects of the company’s brand positioning, and supporting business growth. Nathan combines deep sector insight with hands-on delivery, working closely with the senior team to align marketing activity with business priorities, plans and objectives.

He brings a proven track record in building effective multi-channel campaigns, developing compelling propositions, and creating the tools, structure, and visibility needed to help Egniol stand out and succeed in a competitive market.
